The truth is out there…

We enjoy off the wall and out of the way touristy places. When we came across the EXPEDITION:BIGFOOT! The Sasquatch Museum in Blue Ridge, Georgia, we knew we had to go.
We found a nearby campground Morganton Point to stay out and planned our trip around the museum.

First, be warned: no RV or camper parking. Despite a fairly spacious parking lot, they do not allow those to park there. I’m not sure what they would actually do though.
A few documentaries are playing constantly. In one viewing room, there’s a 2 hour 1970s “documentary” on. I found the contrast to be especially fascinating in an ironic way. One video described Bigfoot viciously attacking the owner’s dog while the other video described how peaceful Bigfoot is.

Any discussion over sasquatch has to include proof, right?

The museum had several casts of foot prints but the real MVP? The kids loved bigfoot’s butt.
Listening for Sasquatch
Several audio exhibits are available for visitors to hear Bigfoot or listen to narrated stories.

The stories are well recorded and interesting to follow. The Bigfoot audio even made me wonder what I was listening to. It didn’t sound like other animals. Maybe… Just maybe…

The Research Center
Lol

Don’t touch the 20 year old laptop. It’ll probably break.
This is what separates the Sasquatch Museum from others. They put on a good show, but there’s no research, no real investigation.
Worth Visiting
For starters, the Sasquatch Museum was not on par with the UFO Museum in Roswell. However, it still presented an interesting case that Sasquatch is out there.
The price was right. Seven of us made it in for about fifty bucks. You can easily spend a couple hours just looking through exhibits. It was a nice diversion for us on a rainy day.
